 Scene from video mock documentary: Desperate Lives. Shot in 3/4" Umatic (JVC portable deck with 20-minute cassettes),with a JVC KY-310. Note the Panasonic portable VHS camcorder being used in the movie. Required a separate deck, as did  most models at the time. Cast: Dana Peterson, producer Joseph Erickson, Bruce Barker and yours truly handling the camera. Both of these segments were shot on Boston's waterfront, near Pier 4.
