While Farrellmedia can't claim that this is in fact the first home video ever shot on tape, 1976 is definitely long before VHS and portable home video cameras (portable, in the early days meaning a camera and a deck you had to carry around on your shoulder). This was shot on a Hitachi HV-62 CCD camera, wired directly into a Panasonic 3/4" Player/Recorder. The talent, 8-year-old Mark Farrell, was having some fun at Sprite's expense....
